Tigers Athletes of the Week (Week ending Nov 5)

Robertha Charles

Second-year forward Robertha Charles is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.

Robertha led the Tigers to a 2-0 start to the AUS regular season.

In Wednesday night’s home opener, Robertha Charles recorded a double-double, with 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a 60-58 victory over the visiting StFX X-Women.

She added another 14 points and six rebounds in the Tigers 51-48 win over the X-Women in Antigonish Saturday night.

A sociology student, Robertha is from Montreal, QC.

Sven Stammberger

Fifth-year forward Sven Stammberger is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.

Sven led the Tigers to a 2-0 start to the AUS regular season.

He scored 35 points and had five rebounds, three assists and four steals in Wednesday night’s game at Dalplex, leading the Tigers to a 94-75 win over the visiting StFX X-Men Wednesday night.

In Saturday night’s game in Antigonish, he scored 36 points and hauled down 16 rebounds and added five assists in leading the Tigers to a big 95-78 win over the X-Men.

A native of Halifax, N.S., Sven is an MBA Corporate Residency student.
