This weekend marked the U Sports championships for the men's basketball Tigers and the Tigers track and fields teams. Runner Mike Van Der Poel took home a bronze medal, as did the men's basketball team — its highest ever national finish.

Ten Dal graduate students competed in the university's Three Minute Thesis finals last Thursday, sharing bite-sized research on everything from how the immune system can be used to fight cancer to understanding bumblebee populations.
