The Dal campus looked snowy and pretty when Rick Mercer dropped by to acknowledge the fundraising efforts of the Dal team that won the Spread the Net campus challenge. Hilary Taylor, Keith Torrie and Victoria Jones led the Spread the Net team at Dalhousie which raised more than $19,000. The money goes to UNICEF to purchase bed nets, which will protect children in Africa from malaria-infected mosquito bites. Here's the segment from the Rick Mercer Report that aired Feb. 19 on CBC-TV.
