Important note about required number of Selectives & Advanced Selectives:

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE - MEDICAL SCIENCES MAJOR (120 CREDIT HOURS)

24.00 credit hours of Selectives are required, 3.00 credit hours of which must be Advanced Selectives

 

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE - MEDICAL SCIENCES WITH HONOURS (120 CREDIT HOURS)

21.00 credit hours of Selectives are required, including at least 6.00 credit hours at the 3000/4000 level, 3.00 credit hours of which must be Advanced Selectives.

 

Note that a Selective is a course from a predetermined list, provided by the program, whereas an Elective is any course at Dalhousie University. In cases where prerequisites for Selectives are not offered as Medical Sciences core courses, Elective space can be used to fulfill these prerequisites.

If the course does not appear on the timetable, it is not offered that year
