Dates and deadlines

As an applicant, you'll have a number of important deadlines to meet. See deadlines for September and January entry, entrance awards, admission deposits and more.

Ready to apply to Medical Sciences?

Pre-requisites

  • Grade 12 English
  • Pre-calculus
  • 3 additional university preparatory courses
  • Biology & Chemistry recommended

Application steps

  1. Apply to the Bachelor of Science (Medical Sciences) Program as your first choice.
  2. List Bachelor of Science as your second choice.  This way, if you don't get accepted into Medical Sciences immediately, you will be accepted into the BSc and put on a waiting list for Medical Sciences.

Deadlines

For September entry:

  • March 15: Medical Sciences program (high school applicants, transfer students, international applicants)
  • March 15: Scholarship consideration (all high school applicants)
  • August 15: Dalhousie students returning to same program or visiting students

Fees

To view your fees for each term, login to Dal Online and take the following steps:

  • Web for Students > Registration > Registration Fee Assessment
  • Choose your term and the fees shown will be for that term.
