Rowe School accreditation renewed

Posted by Nicole Maunsell on June 30, 2021 in News

AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has renewed the Rowe School of Business’s accreditation. This signifies the School’s commitment to continually improving the quality of the education it offers to students in the Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Commerce Co-op, Master of Science in Business, Corporate Residency MBA, and Blended/Online MBA with concentrations in Financial Services and Leadership. Less than 5 percent of all schools offering degree programs in business at the bachelor level or higher worldwide hold AACSB accreditation.

The accreditation process was led by a dedicated team, including Rowe School director Binod Sundararajan, associate director Sergio Carvalho and accreditation coordinator Kathleen Wooden. Commerce student Muyu Lyu, who supported the team during his co-op work term in the Management dean’s office, says that “accreditation signifies the Rowe School’s high standard and international-level management education, which has uncovered my potential to cope with the complex and dynamic business world.”

“Accreditation means that the Rowe School meets the AACSB’s high standards required to provide students with the best quality business education available in the world,” says Sergio Carvalho. “To our students, it means a guarantee that they are building their career on a quality degree. To employers, it means they are hiring young people with a solid education that will equip them to become future leaders.”
