There are many resources found all over Dal to help students make the transition to University.
Located on Studley in the Student Union Building, First-Year Advising is open to all first-year students. Starting the summer before your first day of classes, First-Year Advising provides registration advice and transition support all through your first year at Dal.
Second-year students seeking advice regarding their engineering program can contact firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment with an academic advisor.
Once students have entered their disciplines, they will have the opportunity to set up appointments regarding their program with one of their department's advisors.
The Peer Mentorship Program will help students make the connections to help them navigate their first year in Engineering. Peer Mentors will be available to answer non-academic questions, provide leadership and organizational skills to new students.
