Bursaries & Scholarships

We're proud to offer one of the best law school financial aid programs in Canada

Each year, we award over $2 million to our students to help with the cost of legal education. Over 60% of our students receive financial aid of some form, so be sure you apply!

Our bursary and scholarship program will start September 1.

How to Apply

1. Review the Bursary and Scholarship Information Booklet 2023-2024 [PDF - 614kB] for information on award categories, criteria, and application process.
2. Read through the Supporting Documentation information (checklist in the Appendix) and make note of information that is applicable to you.
3. Read through the Named Awards Criteria (in the Appendix) and make note of the ones you may qualify for.
4. Review the Sample On-line Application Form [PDF - 149kB] to know what is required. Note that the formatting of this form may make it difficult to read in some areas as it is generated from an online form. This is a guide only. The online form is the only submission format permitted.
5. Watch the instructional video (below) on applying for bursaries and scholarships.

7. Review the Schulich Scholarships Information Sheet (Second & Third-Year students only) [PDF-193kB]
   
8. Start your application! Once the Online Form is open you may begin your application at any time, with the option to save and return to it (via an emailed return link), so start early!
9. Submit your application form before the deadline.
10. Email your supporting documentation as per the instructions on the application form before the deadline.
