Job posting: Assistant or Associate Professor in Supply Chain & Decision Sciences

The Faculty of Management invites applications for a probationary tenure-track or tenure-track appointment in the area of Supply Chain and Decision Sciences. The selected candidate will be appointed in the Department of Management Science and Information Systems.  The appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (dependent upon qualifications and experience) and to commence July 1, 2023 (negotiable). Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Decision or Management Science or a closely related discipline, and be able to meet the School’s accrediting body’s (AACSB) academic qualification requirements.

The successful applicant will be expected to engage in leading-edge research both individually and collaboratively with colleagues and students; to be able to teach area-specific core and elective courses in our undergraduate, executive and research-based graduate programs, and to contribute to the academic life of the Department, Faculty, and University through committee service and other activities. The successful candidate is also expected to be affiliated and make strong contributions to the Dalhousie Centre for Research in Sustainable Supply Chain Analytics (www.dal.ca/crssca). A corresponding research agenda and profile, demonstrated research accomplishments and related professional experiences will be considered as strong assets.
