The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Psycholinguistics (PSYO/NESC 3190.03) in the Fall term. The class will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday 1305-1425 with a maximum class size of 50 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lectures, test preparation, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. A 90-hr Marker is provided for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, Dalhousie University’s fall semester courses may be held online. Experience with teaching in an online environment is an asset. All instructors hired to teach online courses will be supported by Dalhousie to develop and delivery their courses from the Centre for Learning and Teaching (clt@dal.ca) and Academic Technlogy Services (support@dal.ca). Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant field, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and have previous experience teaching the class material.
