2014 Dalhousie Conference on University Teaching and Learning ‑ Call for Proposals

The Centre for Learning and Teaching invites you to submit your proposal for the 2014 Dalhousie Conference on University Teaching and Learning. This year's theme is "Fostering Deep Learning With Technology."

This year's conference will explore the integration of educational technologies to foster deep learning in courses and programs and will provide opportunities to discuss how such approaches will continue to influence the higher education landscape.

Colleagues are invited to submit proposals for sessions that consider some aspect of the theme, including but not limited to:

  • Flipped Teaching
  • Social Media in Teaching
  • Blended Learning
  • Distributed Learning
  • Effective Integration of Technology in the Classroom
  • Open Learning, including MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)
  • Learning Analytics
  • Evaluating the Impact of Technology on Learning

Deadline to Submit: Friday, March 7, 2014
