South Sudan-born Yuot Chol Arok has overcome tremendous challenges to pursue his passion for engineering and continues to face challenges and triumphs with quiet resolve and confidence.

Funded by an NSERC Indigenous Student Ambassadors grant, Faculty of Science undergrad Kailyn Hanke travelled to Manitoba and Saskatchewan to share her post-secondary experience with high schoolers in three largely Indigenous communities.
