Sweet treats, casual chit chat, and fun summer games: there's a lot to love about Dal’s annual Strawberry Jam.

More than 300 faculty and staff gathered on the Studley Quad last Thursday for the eighth-annual edition of the event, which was blessed with blue skies and sunshine.

Various treats were served at the gathering, including, you guessed it, strawberries! There were strawberry shortcake kebabs, grilled chicken and tofu skewers, and strawberry fruit punch — all provided by the university's Catering Services.

While waiting for food, people connected with colleagues and played washer toss and Jenga.

The event is held each year to celebrate the university’s achievements and to say thank you to employees for all their hard work during the past year.
