Adelle Goodfellow, Soccer

Fourth-year midfielder Adelle Goodfellow is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.

Goodfellow was an integral part of the Tigers homecoming 2-0 win over Mount Allison on Sunday at Wickwire Field.

She was dangerous with the ball all game and was rewarded for her hard work, scoring a goal from outside the box just over 30 minutes into the game. She continued to attack throughout the second half with dangerous runs and passes.

A science student, Goodfellow is from Halifax, N.S.

Corbin Boes, Hockey

Third-year net-minder Corbin Boes is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.

Boes led the Tigers to a 1-1 record in men’s hockey over the weekend.

He stopped 33 of Acadia’s 35 shots in the Tigers 3-2 overtime loss in Wolfville Friday night, earning a .943 save percentage.

In Saturday’s 3-1 homecoming win over the visiting Saint Mary’s Huskies, Boes was hot again, recording a .973 save percentage while making 36 saves.

A native of Saskatoon, S.K., Boes is a commerce student.
