Men’s hockey goaltender Bobby Nadeau led his team to four points this past weekend with an overtime win on Friday night against Acadia and then another overtime win on Saturday over Saint Mary’s.

In the battle against the Huskies Saturday night Bobby made 37 saves to beat the defending CIS national champions. At both games Bobby was honoured as the AUS Subway Player of the Game for his hard work at the net. Originally from Lac-Etchemin, QC, Bobby is a science student and recently received CIS Academic All-Canadian honours.

Meagan Bernier, Swimming


At the Dalhousie AUS Invitational swim meet, Meagan Bernier led the women as she set a new Dalhousie record in the 400-metre freestyle with a time of 4:18:77. The previous record holder was Nancy Garapick who set a time of 4:19:92 in 1982 and Melissa Hubley tied her time in 2003. She also took first place in the 800-metre freestyle and achieved CIS Championship qualifying times in both the 400 and 800-metre freestyle races. A first-year science student, Ms. Bernier is from Cole Harbour, N.S.
