Bachelor of Journalism (Honours)


For Journalism students who want to integrate Environment, Sustainability & Society (ESS) into their degree, the 4-year Bachelor of Journalism (Honours; BJH) can be completed as a Combined Honours degree in Journalism and Sustainability. Graduates are poised to make meaningful contributions to public awareness and understanding of Sustainability issues, goals, and solutions.

Certificate options

Students can also integrate Sustainability into a BJH degree with one or more Certificates:

  • The Certificate in ESS; the Certificate in Communicating Sustainability; or the Certificate in Food, Agriculture and Sustainability can be obtained by completing specific courses, which may also satisfy other degree and program requirements. Learn more about these certificates
