Fees

Tuition & Fees

Students attending the Yarmouth Campus pay the same tuition and most fees as students at Dalhousie's Halifax Campus. However, Yarmouth students are exempt from the following fees:

• Health Services Fee
• Athletic Fees
• Auxiliary/User Fee
• Anatomy Distance Education Fee

In addition to tuition, Yarmouth students are responsible for:

• $15.00 incidental fee
• Student Union Fee
• Nursing Society Fee

Students may also choose to opt into the DSU Health Insurance Plan and pay the associated fee.

Semesters 1 & 2 – Université Sainte-Anne

During the first two semesters, students complete most of their courses through Dalhousie's partner institution, Université Sainte-Anne. All fees associated with these courses are paid directly to Université Sainte-Anne rather than Dalhousie University.

Semesters 3–8 – Dalhousie University

During Semesters 3–8, students complete all courses through Dalhousie University, unless they choose an elective offered through another institution. All applicable course fees are paid directly to Dalhousie University.

Meal Plan

There are no meal plan options for Yarmouth campus students. There are shared kitchen facilities on each residence floor for student use. Student's are also able to access the Yarmouth Regional Hopsital cafeteria to purchase meals daily. 

Residence Fees

Dalhousie Nursing students in Yarmouth can find residence accommodations at Beulah Raymond Hall. Beulah Raymond Hall is owned and operated by Nova Scotia Health. 

Residece fees are charged monthly and vary depening on room type.

Payment Information

• Invoices are issued three times per year; September, January, and May
• Payments are made directly to Nova Scotia Health, either online or in person at a NS Health Business Office
• Students requiring payment arrangments should contact the NS Health Business Office
