PhD Comprehensive Exams

All candidates being considered for a doctoral degree in the Faculty of Engineering are required to complete the comprehensive exam requirements. These exams will take the form of a minimum of two written and one oral examination, administered by the candidate’s supervisory committee.  Please see General guidelines for the PhD comprehensive exam process.

• The CRE PhD Comprehensive Approval Form must be submitted three months prior to the exam.
