Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry is pleased to announce that Dr. Ben Davis has been appointed the new Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, effective September 1, 2013. Dr. Davis joined the Faculty in July 1997 and has made significant contributions in teaching, research and service. He previously served in the role as Division Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for the past 10 years.
The Faculty is pleased to announce that Dr. Archie Morrison will succeed Dr. Davis as Division Head. Dr. Morrison is an excellent clinician and has many years of experience as a well-respected educator.
Dr. Davis succeeds Dr. Reg Goodday, who served as Department Chair for the past 10 years. The Faculty of Dentistry would like to extend its sincere thanks to Dr. Goodday for his leadership, service and support.
