Recognizing that projects are inherently team environments, this course presents the Project Manager's Skill Set and explores issues related to the development of a high-performing team. Providing you with the insights to understand how teams form, this course examines the dynamics of successful teams and the root causes of the problems in dysfunctional teams.
You also gain practical advice on how to build healthy teams by focusing on the role of personality types and their effect on team dynamics.
Finally, new approaches to developing project management teams and communities using online and emerging technologies are reviewed.
Prerequisite: Project Management Fundamentals
Books for the Project Management Online courses are not included in the tuition fees. Students are responsible for purchasing their own books from either online book sellers, local book stores or online publishers. Books are mandatory and others are recommended in order to complete online assignments and readings.
