Audition/Interview Information

We recommend that you audition/interview in-person. Video auditions will be accepted for those who cannot/prefer not to travel. In-person audition dates are January 30th, February 6th, and March 13th, or as arranged with the instructor.

Deadlines

January 30, 2026

First in-person audition day at the Fountain School of Performing Arts.
Deadline to submit an application to the Fountain School of Performing Arts for scholarship consideration (degree applicants only).
February 6, 2026 Second in-person audition day. Applicants who wish to be considered for Music entrance scholarships must audition/interview and completed required testing by this date. Audition videos must be received by this date.

UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE!

Ensure that your Undergraduate Application to Dalhousie (or King’s) is complete, including all high school or transfer institution transcripts.  Apply at dal.ca/admissions. Remember to apply for a General Entrance Award Application. Visit dal.ca/scholarships.
March 13, 2026 Late auditions, pending studio space availability (non-scholarship)
Early April 2026 University and Music scholarships announced. 
June 1, 2026 Applications received after this date subject to a $25 late fee and pending studio availability.
