On February 2 the province of Nova Scotia offered some details of a new funding model for Nova Scotia Universities. That model requires universities to provide a “strategic alignment plan” (SAP) by the end of June.
On April 26th, we’re going to “open the house” for a Dal-community workshop. We’ll host a series of presentations, invited roundtables, and open discussions related to the great things we are doing, and could do, to lift Nova Scotia.
The April 26th workshop will offer faculty and staff an opportunity to share some of the things they are working on. We anticipate discussions focused on our programs, extra-curricular activities, research, and work environments.
Save the date (April 26, 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Once the agenda is circulated, you might decide to attend one session, or come for the day.
There will be sessions of interest to all faculty and staff, so please look at the draft agenda when circulated and sign up for some or all of the day.
