Learning to do by doing ‑Apprenticeship program celebrates 10 years
The PEI Farm Technician Apprenticeship Program is a 5400 hour, two-year registered apprenticeship program designed to address the demand for a skilled, sustainable agricultural workforce on Prince Edward Island.
Before the Plate: A film screening in celebration of Canada's Ag Day
In celebration of Canada’s Agriculture Day February 12th, the Dalhousie Faculty of Agriculture in partnership with the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture, will present a special documentary screening of Before the Plate: the questions, the stories and the people behind where our food comes from and how it gets to our plate.
Dalhousie Agricultural Campus home to new Barley Arch
The arch, which will mirror the design of the ever-popular Barley Ring, will be unveiled with a celebratory ceremony on May 10 at 4:30 p.m. The beautiful hand-crafted arch is a gift to campus from the Agricultural Campus Alumni Association.

Since its launch nine years ago, the Barley ring has become a widely recognized symbol of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus.
