The Dalhousie Agricultural Campus was recently acknowledged for its collective efforts in partnering with Public Health during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Led by Carolyn Bartlett, Student Success, the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus provided support in a myriad if ways including:

• space on campus
• providing volunteers in many roles for multiple immunization clinics
• actively participating in testing for covid-19 (training staff to provide on-site covid testing initially with in person testing and then with rapid test kit distribution)
• actively participating and circulating information/ awareness
•  supporting Public Health messaging
• following practices to keep campus healthy (students, staff and faculty)
• handwashing, distancing, sneeze and cough etiquette, and staying home when sick.

All departments came together to make this happen.

“This is yet another reason to be proud of this campus, and is a beautiful acknowledgement of how others see how we care for our people and our community,” added Carolyn.
