We are very excited to announce that Keah Gloade has officially joined us as our new Manager, Indigenous Students.
Keah is from Unama’ki, Membertou First Nation but now resides in the Millbrook First Nation with her husband and two children.
She completed her science degree in psychology and biology at Cape Breton University. She has extensive experience working with indigenous communities, including working directly with residential school survivors and their descendants.
She has a deep understanding of the historical and contemporary issues facing indigenous students and is always available for a chat and smudge.
She is excited to be joining the Faculty of Agriculture and will be a great resource for our students, faculty, and staff.
