Lactanet Canada unveiled the 2020 top Canadian managed dairy herds including several alumni in Atlantic Canada.
The Herd Performance Index is based on six criteria: milk value, age at first calving, herd efficiency, longevity, udder health and calving intervals. A score is given to each of these criteria according to the herd’s performance against 7000 others.

Black Avon Farms Ltd. (Erica Versteeg Class of '03)
Lone Willow Farm in Nova Scotia ranked third in the province (Alan Cook Class of ‘00)
Willie A Leblanc and Sons Ltd, ranked second in New Brunswick (Guy Leblanc Class of ‘80 and Richard Leblanc Class of ‘88)
