At the annual STIHL Timbersports Canadian Championship held last weekend in Wasaga Beach Ontario, DAL AC’s Connor Morse (2018 Woodsmen MVP and Male Athlete of the Year) topped the rookies to become this years STIHL Canadian Rookie Champion.
Connor placed first in Underhand Chop, Single Buck and Stock Saw and second in Standing Block Chop to gain the Canadian Title.
As a result of his success , Connor will be travelling to Liverpool , England this October as part of the 10 member training team at the STIHL Timbersports World Championship and in the Spring of 2019 , he travels to Prague, Czech Republic to compete in the 2019 STIHL Rookie World Championship.
Always a hard working student-athlete , Connor has taken his sport and his training to the next level to compete at the Canadian and World Championships.
