Frank Harvey, Acting President and Vice-Chancellor at Dalhousie. (Nick Pearce)
Nothing truly great happens without community.
It’s by connecting with others that we grow, we discover, we innovate, and we make change happen. At Dalhousie, we pride ourselves on being a gathering place where diverse ideas, lived experiences and goals are supported by a network of inspired relationships that begin on campus and extend locally, nationally and globally.
We wanted to showcase these connections in this year’s report, so we reached out to our students, faculty, staff and alumni for their suggestions of stories that best represent what we can achieve as a shared community.
You’ll read about how our Dal experience helps prepare future-ready leaders who are set to take on an exciting and ever-changing world. How we’re strengthening community connections to enhance our vital contributions to the province we call home. How our faculty and students pursue innovation and research with global impact. And how our Dal community is united in our goals and inspired by what we can achieve together.
Guided by our strategic plan, Third Century Promise, we’re shaping a future for Dalhousie and our communities where, together, we continue to grow our positive impact on Nova Scotia, Canada and the world.
