Part-time Academic - teaching Course ANSC0206 (Dairy Milking Systems and Housing Facilities) in the 2016 Fall semester.

The lectures for this course are currently scheduled for Monday. The Part-time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and delivering course material related to the fundamentals of Dairy Facility Design and Management. Core concepts to be taught include: barn layout options & housing alternatives, design and logistics of isolation, building environment, manure collection, feed and water storage, traffic control and farm biosecurity, milking center design/management. The successful candidate should have experience in the dairy industry and be able to demonstrate knowledge in the subject.

Pay rate will be In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement.
