Halifax Support Group For People Who Stutter: 10th Anniversary Special Meeting

Posted by Dalhousie School of Human Communication Disorders on October 24, 2014 in General Announcements

Celebrating ten years of the supportive environment provided by the Halifax Support Group For People Who Stutter, the only such group in Atlantic Canada. The 10th anniversary meeting will feature discussions with two special guests. Through his blog and comic-style book, “Stuttering is Cool”, Montréal-based blogger Daniele Rossi tackles stuttering through a light-hearted, yet deeply thoughtful, approach. We will also watch a preview clip and speak to the Director of “The Way We Talk”, a new feature-length documentary about stuttering, and how hard it can sometimes be to say what's in your heart. Everyone is welcome, including people who stutter, their families and friends, and SLP’s.

Date: Thursday, November 6

Time: 7.00-8.30pm

Location: Dalhousie School of Human Communication Disorders, 1256 Barrington Street in Halifax at Barrington/Harvey
