Dalhousie's Dr. Afua Cooper received an honorary doctorate from the University of Ottawa earlier this month.
Dr. Cooper, a professor in the departments of Sociology and Social Anthropology and History as well as a Killam Research Chair at Dalhousie, received the honour at the Faculty of Arts Convocation cereomony on June 10.
She was being recognized for her sustained contribution and impact on scholarship, literature, and EDI endeavours.
