The Dalhousie Art Gallery is pleased to announce a Call for Entries for the 68th Annual Student, Staff, Faculty, and Alumni (SSFA) Exhibition. Celebrating the diverse creative talents of the Dalhousie and King's communities, the Gallery encourages submissions of original artwork in various media and regardless of experience or education in the art field. Accepted formats include: 2D and 3D artworks such as painting, photography, printmaking, collage, textiles/fibre, sculpture, installation, drawing, bookworks, video, and more. This year's showing will be extended from its usual one month duration to the end of the spring semester in April 2023.
This exhibition is a unique opportunity to share your passion for the arts, foster creativity, and acknowledge that the arts continue to be an important part of the University’s communities.

Opening Reception: Thursday, January 26th, 2023, 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Artwork Delivery Dates:
Thursday, December 15, 12:00-7:00pm
Friday, December 16, 12:00-7:00pm
Saturday, December 17, 12:00-5:00pm
Sunday, January 8, 12:00-5:00pm
Monday, January 9, 12:00-7:00pm
Tuesday, January 10, 12:00-7:00pm
Artwork Pick-Up Dates:
April 18-22, during Gallery hours 11:00am – 5:00pm

ACCESSIBILITY
The Dalhousie Art Gallery is located in the lower level of the Dalhousie Arts Centre. There is a permanent ramp located at the front entrance of the Arts Centre on University Avenue and automatic doors to assist with entry into the building. The lobby is carpeted and there are wide pathways throughout the building. The Gallery floors are a smooth, hard surface. There is an elevator on the main floor with access to all floors in the building including the Art Gallery. There is a gender-neutral, single-occupancy washroom with automatic door, and accessible stalls in the women’s and men’s washrooms on the second floor which can be reached via the elevator.
Seymour Street accessible parking meters are currently unavailable due to building construction. There are two to three accessible 3 hour parking spots at the corner of Henry Street and University Avenue.
