Dal Biodiversity Day

Posted by Earth and Environmental Sciences on September 20, 2022 in General Announcements

Join us on FRIDAY Sept 23th, 2022 for the annual Dal Biodiversity Day! Help us find as many species as we can on Studley Campus!

About this event

Join us on FRIDAY September 23rd to record all the species we can find on Dalhousie's Studley Campus! The Agricultural campus will also be joining us from Truro.

All are welcome, regardless of your species knowledge. Come singly, in pairs, or with a group of your friends! Join one of our naturalist leaders and learn about the biodiversity we share our campus with. You may sign up for one or more of the available time slots, and then on the day of the event choose a zone or specialty at the registration desk.

Time slots will last approx 1 hour and each session will have leaders to point out target organisms. New additions this year include sessions on nature sketching, a native pollinator garden, and a set of new macro lenses for participants to try!
