New Site Transition Program Team

Posted by Communications, Marketing and Creative Services on August 8, 2022 in General Announcements

Since the launching the Site Transition Program (login required) last summer as part of the Web Renewal Project (login required) there has been a steady increase in engagement from the web community across Dal. Of the approximately 500 sites at Dalhousie, 118 have submitted work for one or more stages of the Site Transition Program. It is anticipated that this number will grow over the coming months as the remaining sites begin the process – especially considering that 50% of respondents to a recent survey stated that they had made progress in the first step of the program.

To facilitate increased collaboration within and across teams, the Web Renewal Project Team has created a dedicated Teams space for the Site Transition Program (member login required). The new Site Transition Program Team is where AEM authors, site leaders and contributors can:

  • Find Site Transition Program- specific information, events and updates, and;
  •  Get their Site Transition Program questions answered by members of the Dal.ca Web Renewal Project Team.

The dal.ca Web Services Teams space (member login required) will remain active, and it’s where the web community will continue to access Web Work Wednesdays sessions, ask questions about maintaining their AEM site, and get general dal.ca web news and updates.

All existing AEM authors, site leaders and contributors have been added to the new Site Transition Program Team (member login required), but anyone with an interest in the Site Transition Program is welcome to request access by emailing web.project@dal.ca.
