Retired U.S. astronaut Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger will discuss her experiences in space, her thoughts on what people can do to protect planet earth, and why it is important that we do so.

Of the roughly 108 billion people who have ever lived, just over 600 have been to space and of those 600, only 65 were women. This makes Ms. Metcalf-Lindenburger uniquely qualified to discuss the role we all play in the stewardship of planet earth.

This discussion will be introduced by U.S. Consul General in Halifax, Lyra S. Carr, and moderated by the Executive Director of SuperNOVA at Dalhousie University, Alexandra Fenton. Come with questions for Ms. Metcalf-Lindenburger. There will be a Q&A at the end of the discussion.
