» Go to news mainStudy Recruitment Notice: Evaluation of an Educational Game for smartphone security awareness
You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by researchers at Dalhousie University. The goal of the study is to understand and evaluate the effectiveness of an educational game for improving user-awareness and self-efficacy towards secure smartphone behaviour.
The participant would typically take about 30-45 minutes to complete the whole study over the course of 1 week.
- Reading the consent form (2 mins)
- Completing the Pre-Study Survey (10 mins)
- Interacting with the educational game at home (Participant would have 1 week to play the educational game)
- Completing the Post-Study responses (15 mins)
- Optional Post-Study Interview (15mins)
Reward (i.e., Compensation):

Qualifications Required:
- Age: 18 and above
- Should have access to an Android Smartphone
- Language Proficiency – English
