To make access to testing even more convenient for the Dal community, Dalhousie University has collaborated with Nova Scotia Public Health to launch a self-swab COVID-19 rapid screening program in Halifax for faculty, staff and students.
Testing will resume this week as we transition locations and prepare for the fall. See details below.
Wednesday, September 1 to Friday, September 3:
Location: Marion McCain Arts & Social Sciences building, room 1198
Hours: 12-3 p.m., 8-9 p.m.
Saturday, September 4:
Location: Marion McCain Arts & Social Sciences building, room 1198
Hours: 2-3 p.m., 8-9 p.m.
September 7 and ongoing
Location: University Hall, Macdonald Building
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12-4 p.m.
The clinic is walk-in at this point — no appointment necessary. (Appointments will resume once a new registration system is launched, with walk-ins continuing as well).
Test kits can also be picked up at the following locations:
- Studley campus:
- Student Union Building (starting September 1st), Information Desk, from 8:30am-9pm Monday to Friday, 9am-9pm Saturday, and 11:30am-9pm Sunday.
- Sexton campus:
- F building (aka Chemical Engineering Building), Main Office (aka room 1117), pickup Monday-Friday from 8:30-4pm.
- Carleton campus:
- Sir Charles Tupper Medical Building, Building Services (aka rooms B101 & B102), pickup Monday-Friday From 8:30-4pm.
