POSITION: Teaching Assistants for ERTH 6353 Quantitative Methods in Earth and Environmental Sciences (65-hour position)  

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Dalhousie Faculty of Science, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences  

RATE OF PAY: According to the CUPE Agreement

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Teaching Assistant will assist the primary instructor for ERTH 6353 in the presentation and delivery of the course. Duties may include labs/tutorials (1 hour/week), marking, and communication with students and instructor. The TA will report directly to the instructor.  

REQUIREMENTS:  Quantified candidates have MATLAB programming experience and strong background in math. See the course syllabus:

The ability to communicate effectively, to lead and engage students and provide constructive feedback are required skills for this position.
