Please note, plans have been confirmed for a steam shutdown and electrical outage on May 21st to 23rd inclusive to install new equipment as part of the Thermal Plant renewal project.
The steam shutdown will be campus wide and will commence at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 21st and will be restored before noon on Saturday, May 22nd.
The Electrical outage is scheduled to last for 36 hours commencing at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 21st and will be restored by no later than Sunday, May 23rd at 5:00 AM. The following buildings will be affected as detailed below:
Buildings that will be closed for the duration of the outage:
Killam Library, Kenneth Rowe Management Building, McDonald Building, Chemistry Building, and Studley Gym
Buildings that will lose power but have electricity provided by generators during the outage:
LeMarchant Place, Howe Hall, Risley Hall, Chemical Storage, and the Central Services Building
