Drop‑in COVID‑19 testing available on campus Tuesday and Wednesday

Drop-in COVID-19 testing will be available at Public Health’s Mobile Health Units on Tuesday, January 26 and Wednesday, January 27 at Dalhousie University (Goldberg Computer Science Building, University Avenue, Edward St. entrance) from 10am to 5:30pm.

Testing at the Mobile Health Unit is open to anyone (faculty, staff, and family members included) who:

  • have no symptoms
  • are not close contacts of a person with COVID-19, and
  • are not isolating because of travel outside of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador

Important notes:

  • This is not a rapid testing clinic, so you will not receive your results for at least 24 hours.
  • You do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your results.
  • The testing method is standard PCR swab or Swish and Gargle for children up to age 18.
  • Please bring your health card with you, if you have one.
  • You may have to wait in line outside; please dress accordingly.
  • Please do not come to the drop-in site if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, please book an appointment online by visiting: https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en/
