Instructor Postings ‑ Engineering Mathematics and Internetworking: Internetworking Program

Applications are sought for 4 positions of Instructor for the Internetworking Program.  This program is responsible for the Master of Engineering in Internetworking (MEI) of the Faculty of Engineering at Dalhousie University.

 

Qualifications must include an M.Eng. in Internetworking degree, OS and virtual system experience, industrial certification (held or in progress), experience in teaching in Program courses and/or laboratories both in class  and by eLearning, and internetworking system design using Cisco equipment. Candidates should have at least five years of hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment and experience with virtual systems and programming.  Data Centre and automation experience are desirable. The incumbents will be required to teach theory, to guide and advise students, to lead student projects, to design laboratory experiments, to teach in the Program laboratories, to undertake administrative duties including facility resource management, and deliver eLearning locally and internationally. These positions require self-starters who are prepared to work as necessary, including limited evening, weekends, and early mornings to ensure that the students have an excellent laboratory and educational experience.
