Teaching Assistant Posting ‑ Business and Social Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture

Position:  TA 90 – Winter 2020 - January to April 2020
MGTA 3000 – Management Accounting

Department/Location: Business and Social Sciences, Agricultural Campus

Pay Rate:  90 hours as per CUPE Collective Agreement - $2,197.00 gross

Work Assignment: 
Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. In-Class Duties: Attend weekly tutorial to administer quiz or provide feedback.
  2. Office Duties: Meet with supervisor to review material for tutorial and term tests.
  3. Marking, Grading, and Invigilating: Mark weekly assignments and provide feedback during the tutorial. Attend term tests to assist invigilation. 

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:  

Minimum 3rd or 4th year students in the Agr. Business, Agr. Economics or Int'l Food Business programs and who has successfully completed MGTA 3000 (Management Accounting) or equivalent/similar course with a grade of A- or better. Previous experience as a TA would be an asset.
