The Berlin Wall: 30 Years Since the Fall. Exhibition, Panel Discussion & Reception

​On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Dalhousie Department of German, in cooperation with the Jean Monnet European Union Centre of Excellence, the German Heritage Language School, and the Dalhousie International Centre, is showing the exhibition “The Wall. A Border Through Germany. From the Peaceful Revolution to German Unity” put on by the German Government (Bundesstiftung zur Aufarbeitung der SED Diktatur). It deals with the protests in the GDR, escape movements to the West, and the self-democratization of GDR citizens.  

Exhibition: November 4th to November 8th, Dalhousie International Centre (LeMarchant Place, Suite 1200, 1246 LeMarchant Street), 9am to 2pm.

Reception and Panel Discussion: Wednesday, November 6th, 6pm to 8pm, University Club Dining Hall (6259 Alumni Crescent). The exhibition will be on display at the University Club that evening.
