Position
Part-time Academic position teaching course ANSC2007 (Beef Production) in the 2019 fall semester.  Lectures are scheduled for Monday/Wednesday (8:35 – 9:55), with labs scheduled on Tuesday (11:35-13:25).  The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
 
Department/Location - Haley Institute, Dalhousie Agricultural Campus.

Pay Rate: In accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Work Assignment
The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and delivering course material, including lectures and laboratories, related to beef production.  The course includes students at both the degree and diploma level.  The focus is on Atlantic Canada beef production systems but theory and examples from national and international systems are included.

Requirements of Position
Previous experience teaching in post-secondary education, with excellent oral and written communication skills.  A PhD or Masters Degree in Agriculture or related discipline is required.  Past experience in beef and the beef industry would be an asset.
