Position: Part Time Academic – Summer 2019
Department: Engineering
Compensation: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
Work Assignment: This Part Time Academic will teach APSC 2007 Fluid Power Technology in the Summer 2019 in the Halifax Dalhousie University location. The Summer offering is scheduled for July 2- July 10. The Part Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Requirements: Education; teaching experience at university level with experience in Fluid Power with Technology Education in the school would be considered an asset; desirable attributes. (e.g., MSc in Engineering/Applied Science). Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required. Excellent interpersonal skills.

in the Summer in the Truro Agricultural Campus location. The Summer offering is Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30, July 2- 10 th, excluding weekends. The Part Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Requirements: Education; teaching experience at university level with experience in Technology Modules. (e.g., MSc in Engineering/Applied Science). Technology Education in the school would be considered an asset. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required. Excellent interpersonal skills.
