The Learning Needs Survey was sent to all NSGEU 77 members last spring. The NSGEU 77 Professional Development Committee who developed the survey were very pleased with the 21% response rate.  Here is what the survey revealed:

Of the seven Dalhousie Core Competencies, the top 3 competencies people would like to develop over the next year are: 1) Communication 2) Knowledge & Thinking Skills and 3) Self-awareness and Professionalism

The top 3 ranked training topics of most interest are: 1) Conflict Resolution 2) Time Management and Computer Training (tie) and 3) Managing and Embracing Change

The 3 C’s of Communication series was designed for members of NSGEU Local 77 and other administrative support staff. While the three sessions build somewhat from the previous ones, individuals are not required to register for all three.
