Canada Post workers in Halifax are on strike today, Monday October 22, as part of rotating strikes in their ongoing labour dispute. It is expected that mail service will resume again tomorrow, but there could be slight delays in deliveries.
For today, there will be no external mail delivered to campus. Outgoing external mail will be taken to the Dalhousie mail room and stamped and processed for delivery to Canada Post tomorrow.
Internal mail will continue to be available between our four campuses.
For any URGENT external mail, Dalhousie’s Department of Procurement has agreements with three courier companies as follows:
Deliveries outside Truro, including international deliveries: Fed Ex or UPS (negotiated courier rates apply)
Deliveries within Halifax: All Points Courier
For more information, please contact the Dalhousie mailroom at the Agricultural campus in Truro at 902-893-4614 or Mailroom.dalac@dal.ca
