1 Lecture/Lab Assistant Position

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:  Department of Chemistry

PAY RATE:  As per CUPE 3912 Agreement    

                                               

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  The Instructor is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the specified class which may include delivering lectures; holding tutorials; holding office hours; preparing and grading assignments; tests and exams, and assisting with the laboratory component.  This position reports to the Chair of the Department of Chemistry.

REQUIREMENTS:  A minimum of a MSc in Chemistry; previous teaching experience in chemistry at University level is a definite asset.

The application package should be submitted as a single PDF file to chmchair@dal.ca and should consist of a cover letter, curriculum vitae, summary of  relevant teaching experience, and names/contact information of three referees, by the posting deadline.
