Change and Innovation is one of Dalhousie's Leadership Competencies.

When leading others some of the defined skills for this competency include:

·         Engaging others

·         Addressing behaviours and anticipating barriers to change and innovation

·         Helping the team develop necessary skills for change and innovation

·         Creating the conditions for people to come up with new ways to support change

Driving Change with Coaching is a 37 minute video that gives explores these topics:

·         Identifying the gap: coaching assessment

·         The personal strategic action plan

·         Coaching through questioning and listening

·         Avoiding blind spots and challenging assumptions
