Position: Part Time Academic – Winter 2018
Department: Engineering
Pay Rate: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
Work Assignment: This Part Time Academic will teach APSC 2000 Environmental Impacts and Resources Management in the Winter 2018 in the Yarmouth location. The Winter offering is scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and two additional Saturdays from January 10th – April 11th, 2018. The Part Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Requirements: Education; teaching experience at university level with experience in Environmental Impacts and resource management with Technology Education in the school would be considered an asset. (e.g., MSc in Engineering/Applied Science). Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required. Excellent interpersonal skills.

The fall offering is scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and two additional Saturdays from January 10th- April 11th, 2018. The Part Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, labs, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
